Labelexpo Europe 2019: Vinsak announces Lombardi sale

Prakash T Shivlani, director, Prakash Printers & Coaters, said, “This is our fourth Lombardi narrow-web flexo printing press from Vinsak. We bought our first machine in 2017. Subsequently, in the last two years, we have bought four Lombardis.”

Shivlani said the company started with an investment in a machine made overseas, then went for an Indian manufacturer and finally settled with Lombardi. The company has six narrow-web flexo printing presses.

Shivlani said the machine is easy to use and is capable of producing most of its applications. “The after-sale service from Vinsak is fantastic and its team help us whenever we require. Another benefit of having all presses from one manufacturer is that we can use their parts in another machine if a machine breaks down,” he said.

Thakurdas J Shivlani, founder, Prakash Printers & Coaters, said, “We are in label business for more than four decades and are growing more than 20% per annum. Our earlier Lombardis are of 530- and 430-mm of width. We can produce any kind of labels with our existing setup, including filmic, regular, laminate, pouch, shrink labels, and we cater customers from most of the label segments.”

Interestingly, Prakash manufactures its own labelstock.
