“Our launch of the C4070 and C4065 is yet another important step in enhancing our line of colour production printers, providing an easy transition into digital printing with inline finishing options allowing prints to be ready for delivery off the press,” said Tai Nizawa, managing director, Konica Minolta Business Solutions.

With advanced automation, quality and productivity and myriad finishing options, these presses offer endless opportunities for printers to expand into new markets.

The C4070 series replaces the C3070 series, an entry-level, light production press launched in 2018. The new series also includes the AccurioPress C4070 and AccurioPrint C4065, a lighter version that can bridge the gap between an entry level colour and production print with the same image quality at a more affordable budget. The AccurioPress C4070 and AccurioPrint C4065 digital press print at 71 and 66 A4 impressions per minute respectively and offer the flexibility of two-sided printing on sheets up to 34-inches long (allowing the capability of producing an eight-panel, letter-size brochure) with improved resolution of 2,400-dpi.

The AccurioPress Series uses the Konica Minolta’s advanced colour processing technology, Screen-Enhancing Active Digital Process (SEAD). This combines an array of technical innovations to guarantee exceptional colour reproduction at top speed.

The AccurioPress C4070 and AccurioPrint C4065 print at 71/66-ppm and offer the flexibility of two-sided printing on sheets up to 34-inches long, allowing the capability of producing an eight-panel, letter-size brochure. The AccurioPress C4070 expands application offerings such as envelope printing without the need for an additional fuser. It also offers various finishing options, including booklets, perfect bound, punching, stapling, inline trimming, and stacking to meet customers’ needs

New to the C4070 series is the IM-101 external media detection sensor, an optional sensor for measuring and identifying media, ensuring the correct media settings are selected no matter the operator's skill. The TU-510, IM-101, and the IQ-501, a fully automated, closed-loop quality management tool, provide customers with the ability to produce fully-finished, high-quality, ready to be boxed output quickly and easily without skilled operators — meaning increased uptime, productivity, quality, and profit.
