Knowledge session for printers by Yes Bank on 25 November

Yes Bank is partnering with BMPA for a Knowledge Event for members of the print and packaging industry on 25 November at the MCA Recreation Centre, BKC, Bandra, Mumbai.

Vikas Sharma of Yes Bank said, "Hundred delegates are expected to attend this knowledge session, which covers crucial and critical topics by some of the best brains in practice." He added, "There are no charges for the event."

The speakers include, Alvin Saldanha who would speak on “Branding to the rescue”. Saldanha is the founder and chief creative officer at Brandarms and former executive creative director at McCann Worldgroup. He is considered as a guru in brand building, advertising and digital agency.

After which Vijay Dhingra, a partner at Deloitte India would speak on “Family run businesses - challenges and the way forward”. In addition to sharing his experience in dealing with family run businesses, Dhingra would be sharing his views on taxation and matters related to family planning and succession.

M S Mani, senior director, Deloitte India would talk on “Goods and Services Tax”. MS Mani who brings with him 27 years experience in taxation, specialising in indirect taxes. He deals with clients across a broad range of sectors including financial services, manufacturing, technology, logistics and more. He assists several multinational entities in their indirect tax planning and structuring, from the inception phase. Mani who is member of the Deloitte Asia Pacific indirect tax team, has been recognised by the International Tax Review as an Indirect Tax Leader- India, in 2014.

Dr Shraddha D’Cunha, a noted audiologist and speech plus voice pathologist will speak about “Hearing Hazards at a Printing Press”. Dr Shraddha has 25 years of experience in audiology and has worked with institutes like Jaslok Hospital and Hiranandani Hospital. She would talk about the permanent hearing damage caused to machine operators due to high sound decibels during the running of a machine. Dr D'Cunha will guide the printers in the house about the regulatory norms as well as solutions for these.

Vikas Sharma of Yes Bank concluded, "This is part of our service to the industry." A year ago in 2015, Yes Bank hosted a seminar which had M S Mani, Deloitte Consulting, Sanjay Gaggar, IXCFO, Milind Rajore, a handwriting analyst and graphologist plus Maneck Davar of Spenta Multimedia as speakers at the session.
