KBA-NotaSys renamed Koenig & Bauer Banknote Solutions

The KBA-NotaSys has been rebranded as Koenig & Bauer Banknote Solutions. With this, the press manufacturer has now completed the worldwide harmonised naming of all group companies. The new name will have no impact on the organisation and structure of the business unit.

The name 'banknote solutions' underlines the competence and leadership of Koenig & Bauer in high-tech security printing

“The renaming of KBA-NotaSys to Koenig & Bauer Banknote Solutions reflects the operational and structural situation that has existed for many years, and ensures consistency across the entire group,” said Eric Boissonnas, CEO of Koenig & Bauer Banknote Solutions. “We want to fully integrate the Koenig & Bauer brand and offer our unique know-how under a single global name.”

The name “Banknote Solutions” underlines the competence and leadership of Koenig & Bauer in high-tech security printing. “Banknotes are still the most secure form of payment for people all over the world,” said Andreas Pleßke, board member for the special segment. “Banknote printing is an integral part of our company for the long future.”

With a history of more than 200 years, the Koenig & Bauer group is the oldest press manufacturer in the world. With 5,800 employees worldwide and a turnover of 1.2-billion euros, the group serves the industry’s broadest product portfolio. Koenig & Bauer Banknote Solutions is part of the special segment, which concentrates on high-security printing solutions, particularly in the field of banknote printing.

The renaming included a global overhaul of the logo, website, social media presence and associated visuals.
