Kaliswari Group opts for a fourth Polar

The Polar 115 PF is suitable for all standard cutting jobs. The cutting equipment is best suited for all offset formats of 70x100 cm. With a cutting width of up to 115 cm, the intuitive cutting program enhances faster knife changes and shortest makeready times. The Polar’s positioning system comes with mechanical positioning accuracy of 1/1000 mm and renders greater cutting precision. The Polar is highly reliable for everyday production.

Selvarajan said that like the brand Heidelberg, he always prefer Polar cutting equipment, which is a perfect combination of quality and innovation. “Cutting think paper stock for firework labels and even thinner paper stock for cracker wicks needs 100% precision. Kaliswari Group has had a fantastic run since its inception in 1923 as a match factory. Over the years, the Group grew strength to strength, and soon the company expanded its arms into fireworks. The Kaliswari Group manufactures and sells fireworks under the reputed brand name “Cock”. Besides the Pyrotechnic business, the company also owns educational institutions, transportation companies, and hotels in Tamil Nadu.

 The in-house printing division caters to the commercial and packaging needs of the fireworks and other businesses. Today, the Kaliswari group operates more than 30 factories with an employee strength of 9,000 plus people.

The nine-decade old print house has a complete display of pre-press, press, and post-press equipment, including the Heidelberg Speedmaster CS 92 four-color press installed in 2015, a  first in India, to bolster the printing division.
