IPAMA postpones PrintPack India 2021

Indian Printing Packaging and Allied Machinery Manufacturers' Association (IPAMA) has postponed PrintPack India 2021 - one of the biggest shows for the printing and packaging industry in the world. The show was initially slated for 3 to 8 February 2021 at the India Expo Centre and Mart, Greater Noida.

The decision to reschedule the event was carried out on the basis of a survey conducted by the organiser, in which 195 out of the 302 exhibitors opted for postponing the exhibition. 

S Dayakar Reddy, president, IPAMA, said, "Among 40 of your biggest exhibitors (based on stall size), 37 voted the show's postponement to be a better decision. And thus, it became imperative for us to reschedule the exhibition. We will announce the new dates soon."

He added, "We have reinforced our website and online platform which is now capable of processing a range of activities. It helped us executing this survey as well. It enabled us to reach out to close to 150,000 visitors, out of which, more than 300 replied in the past 40 hours."

IPAMA is also eying to organise a virtual show with 50 booths. The dates for the event will be announced soon.
