Indo Polygraph Machinery exhibits its strength at Pamex

New Delhi-based Indo Polygraph Machinery, Indian dealer of KBA sheetfed printing presses, showed its strength by displaying the KBA Rapida 75, MBO M80 and Herzog+Heymann (H+H) paper folding machine at the recently concluded Pamex 2013 exhibition.

Indo Polygraph was the only sheetfed offset printing press representative company at the exhibition which displayed live demonstration of its two paper folding machines along with four-colour printing press KBA Rapida 75.

Aditya Surana, managing director, Indo Polygraph Machinery, said, “Now we have a big portfolio and exhibition is the best place to show our strength. Now MBO has some equipment sales arrangement with KBA worldwide and we also have some soft arrangements with H+H to sell their paper folding machines.”

“We have strong hold in medium and big format but our presence in smaller format is less so we have to concentrate more on this. So we have displayed new version of KBA Rapida 75 four-colour printing press. Now we are very aggressive, focussed and want to widen our base more in smaller format,” Surana added.

“Our portfolio has been catering to top printers and segment of the industry. Now we are offering entry level printing presses to the market. We have to offer latest technology in economical prices.

We are known for specialised printing presses but now we want to convey the message that we can make simpler and small format printing presses too. Printers who use small format presses are on our radar, especially pharma printers,” he said

On sales arrangement with MBO, Surana said, “In our case it is bit easy to sell MBO because we were representing MBO in India earlier. MBO M80 is a modular concept. Earlier there was rigidness in paper folding machines but this machine can be retrofit. You can do multiple jobs of different kinds on the same machine.”

“The market of offset for commercial is going down but since we are starting from scratch then there is nothing to lose here. If other sheetfed printing presses manufacturers and their representatives are selling small format printing press and surviving then why not us,” said Surana.

He asserts that Indo Polygraph does not intend to sell multiple machines but wants to mark their presence.

"We got pretty good response from Pamex but the show was far away and not promoted well. We have shook hands during the exhibition for a new KBA Rapida 106 seven-colour UV coater press and the showcased press will be stay in India," concluded Surana.
