In pictures: ProPak India 2018

The inaugural edition of ProPak India concluded on 1 September at India Expo Centre, Greater Noida.

The show was launched in the presence of marquee names such as Prof Pierre Pennar and AVPS Chakravarthi of World Packaging Organisation; Yogesh Mudras and Rahul Deshpande of UBM India.

Shedding light on the maiden edition of ProPak India, Yogesh Mudras, managing director, UBM India said, “Research also reveals that better processing and packaging techniques need to be developed that not only increase the shelf life but also improve the nutritive value of the processed food. And this is where our new ProPak India Expo comes in. Of course, processing and packaging engulf so much more and unlike corresponding expos in the sector, ProPak India will cater to multiple sectors and cater to the entire value chain and be of immense value.”

Some of the key exhibitors at ProPak India included Clearpack India, Bry Air Asia, Ishida India, Gandhi Automations, Ace Technologies and IMA-PG among a host of others.

Alongside the event, ProPak India comprised of a two-day conference on topical subjects pertaining to plastic waste management, e-commerce packaging and women in the packaging industry among others. 

ProPak India boasts of having hosted over 80 companies on its debut.
