FIG confirms multiple bookings at Labelexpo

“As it always does in every edition, Labelexpo Europe 2025 in Barcelona this year turned out to be a dynamic platform for business. It had been a great experience for us to take part in the world’s biggest show for the label and package printing industry along with our principals,” Gourav Roy, managing director, Flexo Image Graphics, said. “It felt good and excited equally to be mingled with hordes of focused trade visitors from all over the world, among which many were from India, on all four days of the expo.”

He continued, “Interest of trade visitors in the latest machines and equipment which we presented with the upgraded features and capabilities was high with their desire to see how the new systems would work to boost their businesses. Among those who booked machines and equipment at the stalls of our principals during the show, four of them were from India. It’s a great accomplishment for us that our machine installation base in India is gradually expanding with new customers as well as repeat orders from our longstanding valued clients.” 

Dhanlakshmi Labels from Hyderabad, Pioneer Arunachalam Packaging and Super Labels from Chennai are the companies that placed orders for new machines from FIG during Labelexpo Europe 2025. Pioneer Arunachalam Packaging booked two machines – a Rhyguan Slitter with Luster camera (17inch) and a DYM Automatic Butt Splicer (450mm). Already, a Rhyguan PLUS 420 Slitter Rewinder from FIG had been installed at Pioneer Arunachalam’s production setup.

Another repeat-order client, Dhanlakshmi Labels booked a new Rhyguan TOP 450, a second Rhyguan machine from FIG. The first one is a Rhyguan Plus-420. Rhyguan TOP 450 is semi rotary die cutting with IML function. It is based on servo-driven unwinding and rewinding technology with precise tension control and high-precision slitting knives for various materials.

Super Labels booked a Rhyguan Slitter with Luster camera (17inch). For more than two decades, Super Labels has been consistently delivering high-quality and innovative labels and labelling solutions to the clients in different sectors. The company constantly upgrades its machine line-up with the latest and modern machines and technologies, such as the Rhyguan Slitter from FIG being the latest, for maintaining quality outputs that sell.

“Also, we received a flood of enquiries showing increasing interest in the DCM machines during the expo,” Roy said. Based out of Nanterre, France, DCM ATN boasts a vast portfolio of machines for printing, waxing and lamination, slitting rewinding, rewinding and inspection, shrink sleeve, and others. In the world’s slitting and rewinder market, the company has been engaging in designing and manufacturing of shrink sleeve seaming machines over the last 40 years. 

FIG’s machine installation base in India has been expanding, with new and existing customers with repeat buys in the list. This year, the company has completed the 100th Rhyguan machine installation in the country. In addition to Rhyguan, Luster, Mark Andy, DYM Machinery and DCM ATN, FIG also deals in other brands like Rotoflex, Kluge, KDS Quantum, Presstek, etc. FIG serves its clients through a centralised ‘Customer Support Department’ formed by connecting its main office in Delhi with the branches in Mumbai and Chennai.
