EFI reports record revenue for Q4 2015 and FY’ 15

Freemont-based Electronic for Imaging (EFI) announced its financial results for the quarter and year ended 31 December 2015 with the numbers exceeding outlook.

The company reported revenue of 882.5 million dollars for the year 2015, up 12% year-over-year compared to 790.4 million dollars for the same period in 2014.
 
The announcement comes a week after EFI’s successful conclusion of Connect 2016- the 10th edition of the company’s annual user conference held at Wynn Resorts, Las Vegas.
 
For the quarter ended December 31, 2015, the Company reported record revenue of 256.5 million dollars, up 22% compared to fourth quarter 2014 revenue of 211.1 million dollars.
 
"Our team capped another strong year for EFI by delivering an outstanding quarter despite the continued macro headwinds we have had to overcome all year," said Guy Gecht, CEO of EFI. "As we begin 2016, we remain deeply committed to developing innovative technology to make our customers more competitive and productive."
 
The results come at a time, the company continues its 30% expansion in India. The company’s Bengaluru facility is one of the company’s largest worldwide locations. “EFI employees in India drive many of the industry’s important printing software improvements – a segment where EFI is the leading innovator for advanced MIS/ERP, Web-to-print and digital production print workflow technologies,” said Sam Gulve, managing director of EFI India.
