EFI releases latest PrintSmith Vision MIS

The 100% HTML version was much awaited as the previous version used Adobe Flash technology which has outlived its years with the Flash player about to reach its end of life.

Part of EFI Quick Print Suite of business and production management tools, the MIS is optimised for remote management and operation, and EFI said users can benefit from a faster screen response.

The software also features PrintSmith Vision ShipExpress, a new module that streamlines shipping and makes shipping and delivery more cost effective.

“ShipExpress’s multi-carrier support capabilities give users the ability to quickly and easily find the best rates for parcel handling, with the ability to consolidate production of packing slips and labels in one simple step,” EFI stated.

Connectivity to EFI MarketDirect StoreFront software is also available which will enable automated processing for web-to-print orders.

Other features include new bulk management tools and FastTrack HTML5 modules, which give users the flexibility to manage key tasks on the go without the need for complex cross-training.

The software is also said to enable end-to-end job tracking and automatic notifications to reduce or eliminate the need to spend time finding job statuses and answering customer enquiries.
