Durst, CERM announce seamless integration for label production
The Durst Group, a leading manufacturer of digital printing and production technologies, and CERM, a specialist in Management Information Systems (MIS) for the label and packaging industry, have announced a new partnership that takes efficiency and transparency in label production to the next level. With the newly developed connector between Durst Analytics and CERM MIS, production data from Durst Tau label printing systems can now be transferred directly and seamlessly into the CERM MIS Software. “The demand for full integration of production and business data has been strong in our industry for years,” said Serge Clauss, Product Manager Software & Solutions, Durst Group. “By connecting Durst Analytics with Cerm, we are now offering our customers a solution that delivers maximum transparency and control.”
CERM also highlights the importance of this collaboration.
“Our goal is to provide label and packaging printers with a fully integrated ecosystem in which all relevant production and business data are connected,” said Steffen Haaga, director of global business development at CERM. “By linking with Durst Analytics, our customers now have, for the first time, the ability to connect their Durst Tau label presses to our MIS in real time — an essential step to increasing productivity and making data-driven decisions.”
This partnership is a strong signal of the innovative strength of both companies. It reflects their joint commitment to providing customers with forward-looking solutions that create sustainable added value and strengthen the competitiveness of the label industry.
The official launch of the integration will take place at Labelexpo 2025.
