Okhla-based Design Tree Brand Solution become the first Indian print firm to invest in the HP Latex R530 all-in-one hybrid printer. The machine was supplied and installed by Insight Print Communications, India’s largest channel partner for the HP Latex.
Today, Design Tree is one of the leading print service providers in Okhla, delivering premium print solutions to top corporate brands and agencies. A trusted HP Latex user since the beginning, its journey started with the HP Latex 335, a third-generation machine. It later added a fourth generation 5-ft HP Latex 700W, further strengthening its capabilities. Continuing this trust and commitment to innovation, Design Tree has now installed the all-in-one HP Latex R530 hybrid printer.
“We operate multiple printers using various technologies, but we needed a solution that could handle both roll-to-roll and rigid materials with superior quality, sustainability, and a smaller footprint. The HP Latex R530 printing solution is a true win-win. It cuts waste and manpower while delivering sharper, higher-quality results. Plus, its water-based inks offer the environmental benefits that are the need of the hour, Sanjay Kumar , founder of Design Tree Brand Solution, said.
The HP Latex R530 is designed to handle both flexible and rigid materials, using advanced latex ink technology. It can print flexible media up to 64-inch wide and rigid substrates from 5-ft and up to 2-inch thick, delivering speeds of up to 258-sqft per hour.
“One feature that stood out for us was how easily we can switch between flexible and rigid printing, something that’s quite challenging and time-consuming on our other presses. The HP Latex R530 is also remarkably compact, fitting perfectly into our limited production space, which was crucial for us. Plus, there’s no odour during printing and no eye irritation for our operators,” Kumar said.
Today, brands are actively seeking sustainable print solutions, and the HP Latex R530 sets the benchmark. Powered by water-based inks, it offers one of the most eco-friendly printing technologies in the industry. It can print directly on any substrate from rigid boards to paper-based materials, reducing the need for additional vinyl layers and extra finishing steps. By enabling direct printing on paper-based substrates, jobs become fully recyclable and significantly more eco-friendly, aligning perfectly with modern brands’ commitment to sustainability and circular production.
HP Latex has over 1,500 installations across India.
“We’re excited to see Design Tree grow and succeed with this milestone. Our application engineers are ready to support them in developing new, profitable applications that push creative boundaries,” Ashish Save, director, WFP, Insight Print Communications, said.
