Lata-didi, as Lata Mangeshkar is fondly addressed, was the chief guest at the release of Gautam Rajadhyaksha's book Chehere in Marathi. She has been honoured with titles such as Padma Bhushan, Padma Vibhushan, National and Filmfare awards.

The book is a product of JAK Printers, who bagged PrintWeek India's Social Stationary Printer of the Year in 2009.

Mangeshkar has a secret passion for photography since her youth. She never shared her creations but was immensely proud of them. Gautam captured her in her many moods.

She states, "When I saw the quality of Gautam's photos, I realised that I was an amateur. I quietly hid my own pictures and thought to myself – Lata, you better concentrate on what you know best, that is singing."

Chehere is a Marathi coffee table book, a compilation of Gautam Rajadhyaksha's opinion about all the faces he has captured on camera. It includes photos of film stars like Rekha, Jaya Bachchan, Hema Malini, Kajol and many more.
