Bodhi launches two new products

At PrintPack, Bodhi (Hall 12/Stall H-57) had two major launches. On the first day of PrintPack, Bodhi launched Omnitek’s Veripack 3D, a web-based 3D visualisation software. The launch was the world’s first in terms of technology.

Elaborating on why India was selected for the launch, Surrinder Chita of Omnitek said, “As per our research, a whole lot of business comes to India from the UK. What amazed me was that a lot of common packaging designs are actually done in India. So, it was an ideal decision to launch it here as a part of the Make in India slogan.”

Veripack 3D, is a web-based approval systems which is located on servers. The user has to just put in a basic 2D design of the package and the server will pick up the closest 3D match. No special viewer, plug-in or proprietary interface is required. It works in any standard webGL enabled browser.

The USP of the software is that the client or the user can check the design on the go, on their tablets or smartphones, in high resolution.

The second launch from Bodhi is the SW series colour management monitors from Benq. The monitors are targeted towards the photography industry.

Chris Bai, product manager, Benq, said, “The SW series is a backward integration to the PG series, which will help photographers to have an accurate viewing of photographs.” The SW series is Ugra, Fogra and G7 certified capable of achieving 99% colour gamut of the Adobe RGB.
