BMPA’s Print Summit: A legacy of learning on 4 February
The Bombay Master Printers’ Association (BMPA) is set to host its annual flagship event, Print Summit (PS), on 4 February at the Tata Theatre, NCPA. Ahead of the gathering, Faheem Agboatwala, the chairperson of PS26, articulated the event's core philosophy, positioning it not just as a conference but as a vital ecosystem for learning and collective advancement within the print and packaging industry.

Agboatwala underscored the longevity and established value of the platform, which began in 2005. "What began as a vision has grown into a space for learning, collaboration, and the collective advancement of our industry," he stated. The Summit has evolved into one of the most respected and iconic print gatherings in the region, a fact reflected by the loyalty of its attendees: nearly 60% of delegates have attended more than six editions of PS.
The foundational principle of Print Summit, Agboatwala noted, is drawn from timeless wisdom. Citing Leonardo da Vinci's maxim, "Learning never exhausts the mind," he affirmed that this curiosity is what fuels the event. He also invoked Khalil Gibran’s words, stressing that the Summit thrives on knowledge shared with humility and open conversation, ensuring progress is achieved together.
Anupam Kher, actor, author, motivational speaker will close PS26 as the grand finale speaker, drawing from his book Lessons Life Taught Me, Unknowingly for a reflective address on resilience, purpose and personal leadership. Best known for a career spanning over 35 years across Indian and international cinema, Kher has appeared in more than 540 films and 100 plays, with landmark roles in titles such as Saaransh, Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, Khosla Ka Ghosla, and Special 26, alongside global projects including Silver Linings Playbook, The Big Sick and the series New Amsterdam.
A member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, Kher has worked with filmmakers such as Ang Lee, David O Russell, Woody Allen and the Wachowskis. His leadership roles extend beyond cinema, having previously chaired institutions including FTII and the National School of Drama, while also founding the Actor Prepares acting school.
Agboatwala said, “As the closing speaker, Anupam Kher brings lived experience and hard-earned lessons that go beyond motivation. His reflections from Lessons Life Taught Me, Unknowingly align strongly with the spirit of Print Summit, where sustained growth, adaptability and inner resolve matter as much as strategy.”
Print Summit promises to be an enriching experience, focusing on meaningful dialogue and new ideas across the entire print and packaging value chain. Delegates are invited to immerse themselves in the discussions and articles that reflect the "resilience and evolving spirit" of the industry.
