Crescent buys two Canon kit

Three print shops of Crescent Xerox are strategically located in Nagercoil city of Kanyakumari district in Tamil Nadu. These shops are the destinations where jobbers and customers from different businesses and walks of life gather for grabbing graphic prints of all types and textures. Overall vivacity in the print outputs and finished products of Crescent Xerox has recently been improved following the installations of two new advanced Canon ImagePress V700 digital colour production presses, bought from Canon India.

Abdul Jabbar, proprietor of Crescent Xerox, said, “Over the years, we have been Canon India’s loyal client. The two new iPR V700 digital colour production presses that we have recently installed are upgraded models with which we now change the game of our digital printing. Highly user-friendly, these two new Canon machines are totally redefining the quality and innovation in our print outputs.” 

Jabbar said, “Compact in nature, iPR V700 is such a digital system packed with advanced features like D-Curling Unit and other capabilities to produce textured and innovative graphics. In fact, we used to run a couple of iPR C650 models earlier, which had been replaced by these two new and far more advanced iPR V700 systems.” 

He added that it has been just a matter of four months since they started running the two new Canon digital production presses, and they still have to further leverage the capabilities and advantages of the machines. 

An absolutely compact digital colour production press with a small footprint, iPR V700 is versatile, reliable, and capable of handling a wide variety of media. “Media flexibility of this Canon digital colour press has enabled us to print on envelopes, stickers, and many such unconventional materials. Moreover, we are now capable of producing even large posters in 350gsm using the two new iPR V700 systems,” Jabbar said, adding that Crescent Xerox has unfolded a whole new shift of quality and innovative digital printing with the two new Canon production presses. 

When it comes to media versatility, iPR V700 is compatible with a wide range, starting from 52- up to 350gsm. The range includes covers, envelopes, synthetics, and long sheets up to 1,300-mm. With flexible media compatibility, iPR V700 also boasts of its speed and print resolution. It can operate at the speed of 70 A4ppm (pages per minute), delivering prints in 2400x2400-dpi, which is the industry’s leading resolution, for creating vibrant, consistent, and vivid colour graphics and end-products.
