Prabhanshu Gupta, proprietor of APR Graphics and Suppliers, said, “The decision to invest in the Konica Minolta AccurioPress C12000 was driven by our firsthand experience at industry trade expos, where we have seen the machine's outstanding print quality. The need for faster, on-demand, and high-quality printing drove us to make an investment in a system that would provide instant and reliable production. Customers now expect same-day turnaround, and the C12000 has helped us to meet those expectations.”
He added, “Konica Minolta's team offered thorough training during the installation process and has been extremely cooperative after installation. Their speedy service support — usually within an hour — has been a significant boon and reflects their commitment to customer satisfaction.”
Presently, the C12000, which was installed in March 2025, is the company’s sole and first digital press. Besides that, it has four-color offset presses from Komori, which take care of its conventional print orders. The infrastructure is complemented by Jindal's lamination machines and other cutting and finishing machines that allow it to handle both offset and digital processes effectively.
APR Graphics and Suppliers is a developing business based on decades of family experience in the printing business.
Gupta explained, “Although I am a mechanical engineer by profession, my elder brother has been in the printing business for more than 15 years in Hamirpur district. We were initially involved in the hoarding and signage business. But looking at the trend of the market changing and the growing importance of digital printing, we decided to diversify. I transitioned from my role as an engineer within the same organisation to take on the management of this new digital printing vertical. After attending numerous print expos and speaking with other users, we were convinced about the potential and reliability of Konica Minolta's machines, which led to our investment in advanced digital print technology.”
The company’s primary clientele spans both government and private sectors. It consistently take up printing jobs for bodies like nagar nigam, superintendent of police offices, and other government administrative offices. It also cater to coaching centres, colleges, universities, hospitals, and pathology labs, carrying out printing tasks such as vouchers, book covers, forms, and promotional material.
Currently, it has a small team of three designers, two machine operators, and two support staff members for logistics and handling.
Gupta said, “We are expecting a good return as we grow further. Our initial market response has been encouraging, and we've come into this business with a strong growth mindset. Even though we've started off with a small team and infrastructure in Kanpur, we are ambitious about our expansion strategy. With increased production, we look forward to expanding our operations, introducing more advanced features and investing in more Konica Minolta systems to further diversify our offerings and address changing customer needs.”
