At Pamex 2026, Ample Graphics is addressing the twin industry pressures of rising labour costs and environmental sustainability with a seven-machine display. Rajeev Jagga, founder of Ample, highlighted that post-Covid market dynamics and changing labour laws have accelerated the demand for high-speed automation among Indian printers and packagers.

A major highlight of the Ample stand is the launch of its new flute laminator, which Jagga claims is currently the highest-speed model available in India. Operating at 20,000 sheets per hour, the machine offers a leap in productivity for corrugation and packaging units.

Complementing this is a new full-sheet blanking machine. This unit is designed for high-efficiency waste extraction, allowing operators to extract a fully die-cut 28x40-inch sheet in a single pass. This innovation reduces the time required for traditional manual stripping, aligning with the company’s focus on end-to-end automation.

In response to global sustainability trends and plastic bans in European markets, Ample showcased its lamination machine featuring delam technology. This specialised system allows for green metallised lamination by transferring the metallic effect directly onto the paper using heat, rather than leaving a plastic film residue on the substrate.

“Currently, with metallised film, the plastic remains on the paper,” Jagga explained. “With the delam feature, the metal gets transferred with heat onto the paper, and the film is removed. It becomes totally green.”

While the company has already completed several delam installations, the model displayed at Pamex 2026 is a newer, high-speed iteration. Jagga noted that as labour costs rise, the ROI on such sophisticated, fully automatic equipment has become increasingly attractive to mid-sized and large-scale packaging firms.
