Vijay Vohra of Amar Offset said, “Being a freelancer, I did most of my work on RMGT printing presses and my customers were satisfied with the printing quality and delivery. This is why we decided to go for the RMGT.”
Vohra said another attractive reason for investing in the press was its size, which suited the company’s requirement.
Vohra, who is in the printing industry from more than a decade, added, “We are a commercial printer. We print marketing/ advertisement materials along with material for the sari industry.”
He decided to set up his own print production facility because he wanted to reach out to more customers and it was possible to do so with an in-house facility. “Outsourcing has multiple limitations,” he said.
Presently, a team of four people works at Amar’s 1,600-sqft facility equipped with a paper-cutting machine, beside the printing press.
The installed RMGT 790XL prints sheet sizes from 200x279mm to 600x788 mm at the speed of 16000 impressions an hour. The press can handle printing from 0.04 to 0.6 mm.
