Ahmedabad’s Max Packaging picks up Five Star saddle-stitching machine

Max Packaging, besides specialising in carton packaging, also does commercial printing work.

NS Khurana, director at Five Star, said, it’s a double-head saddle-stitching machine with a loop stitching option. “It will used for producing landscape books,” said Khurana. “It is a custom-built machine, which will have a depth of 15-inch, which will enable Max to produce landscape books, is specialises in, easily. The normal depth of such machines is 12-inch.”

The machine is capable of binding 4,000 books per hour.
