Siliguri-based Agrawal Press has bolstered its digital printing prowess with the installation of a Canon ImagePress V800, a compact digital colour production press, bought from Canon India.
Since its inception in 2011, Agrawal Press has been serving a mixed bag of customers from public and private sectors, different businesses, etc. Beyond the local market of Siliguri and parts of West Bengal, the company’s customer base is spread across Assam and Sikkim and even cross border destinations like Bhutan and Nepal. “Our customers are happy with us because we serve them more than they expect in terms of quality and consistency in products and services,” Gaurav Agrawal, proprietor of Agrawal Press, said.
He added, “In order to meet the growing demands for improved or enhanced print quality and textures in the market, it’s vital to keep embracing the latest and upgraded machines and technologies. In this respect, ImagePress V800 is our chosen system for digital printing. We have installed this Canon digital colour production press by replacing another machine of a different brand in its class from our production facility.”
Designed with compact footprint for outsized performance to offer repeatable colours, incredible automation and stunning productivity, ImagePress V800 is capable of delivering print outputs in the industry’s leading resolution of 2,400x2,400-dpi. It’s compatible with wide varieties of media ranging from 52- to 350-gsm that include covers, envelopes, synthetics, and 1,300-mm long sheets. It operates at the speed of 81-ppm.
With a team of around 40 experienced printing and production professionals, Agrawal Press offers end products like catalogues, fliers, cards, brochures, inserts, books, and many others. “We focus on meeting customers’ persistent demands for quality, maintaining their strict deadlines. For all these, we never ever remain redundant in upgrading our production facility with the latest machine models, such as the strategic adoption of the ImagePress V800,” Agrawal said.
According to Agrawal, the company currently produces near about 60,000 sheets per month on the ImagePress V800. “We are grateful to Canon India and its regional team for the machine with productivity. Graphic textures produced on this Canon digital press are ideally stood out. We look forward to choosing more such capable digital production system with full of capabilities,” he concluded.
