Sukee Print Pack invested in a seven-colour Heidelberg CX 104 seven-colour with coater with a fully-loaded UV machine. The story is about how the 50-year-old company has grown organically through new investments and customer-centric business practices. As a result, Sukee Print Pack became a preferred print partner who can speak the language of the brands and understand their needs. Sumanth Volety and Uttam Volety of Sukee share the company’s growth story.

The profile section focuses on how Nutech Packagings has aced its sustainability game. Since he began his green endeavours in 2014, Nutech Packagings’ managing director Jatinder Shroff has added sustainable development plans to its efforts as well as CSR. Getting Nutech a green building certification in 2018 was a milestone. In this interaction with Noel Marshal D’cunha, Shroff discusses why going green is the way to go.

Bobst announced a slew of new machines during its annual press event hosted at the Bobst Packaging Centre in Lausanne, Switzerland. Gallus Group, a subsidiary of Heidelberg, celebrated its 100th anniversary by opening its doors to a brand-new industry hub in St Gallen, Switzerland – the Gallus Experience Centre – which is designed to serve as an industry touchpoint for customers, industry experts, stakeholders and members of the public.

In the post-press section, Pallippuram Sajith, managing director of Bindwel Technologies, discusses how the role of book printers and publishers is altering. Among other things, building speed to market has become a priority. Sajith tells Noel Marshall D’Cunha that today’s challenges are quick turnarounds, and short- as well as very short-run production with technologies.
