Leo Designs and Packaging gets Brotech finishing kit

By 30 Jul 2021

To complement its recent acquisition of a digital label press, Nalagarh, Himachal Pradesh-based Leo Designs and Packaging has recently invested in a Brotech digital finishing equipment. The Brotech CDF 330 is configured with one flexo station for printing or cold foiling or varnishing, with options for rotary or intermittent die-cutting, slitting and rewinding. It can also handle slitting of lamitubes.

The sale was handled by Brotech’s exclusive Indian agents Weldon Celloplast.

Varun Rao, managing director, Leo Design, said, “During our research, we were recommended the Brotech by leading equipment suppliers. It is good equipment. Also, the installation was handled efficiently by Weldon.”

Spread over four acres of land and 70,000-sqft shopfloor, Leo’s product offerings include self-adhesive labels, lamitubes, mono cartons, E flute cartons and regular shipper cartons. With a diverse product portfolio, the company delivers to an impressive list of brands.

Kanwardeep Sahni, managing director, Weldon, said, “Leo’s march into the diverse label and packaging segments is impressive. The company has a penchant for selecting the best equipment. We hope our association with Leo will grow as it continues to expand and service the growing label and packaging industry.”
