Baldwin Vision Solutions is set to focus on two of its key products at the show –  the Guardian PQV and the  AMS Spectral UV UV LED.

The Guardian PQV is capable of eliminating defects with efficient, accurate and data-connected inspection workflow. “Guardian PQV 100% print inspection provides complete print quality verification from prepress through production, reporting and archiving,” says Amit Desai, regional sales manager for Baldwin. “At the show we will be demonstrating our offline inspection/proofing system. It eliminates pre-press and pressroom defect issues to ensure perfect print quality and accuracy — and complete customer satisfaction.”

The AMS Spectral is a high-powered LED and UV curing technologies, along with IE solutions to printers, OEMS and specialised industries. “Our technologies provide precision spectral light energy needed for the curing and drying of printed inks, coatings and adhesives ranging from commercial printing, packaging and corrugated production, to flexible film printing, and many other applications,” adds Desai.

Every customer coming to the show will  be looking for better business outcomes, that can be either through differentiating themselves by providing a product quality that nobody can compare to and/or run a more efficient business, reducing waste, understanding where they can optimise and make sense of their data. “The breadth of our knowledge across all enhancement technologies gives us a potent ability to fluently support our customers with all these areas,” says Desai.

Last year, Ahmedabad-based Shreedhar Labels achieved a ‘zero rejection’ level of print quality, after installing India’s first Guardian PQV 100% Print Inspection technology from Baldwin Vision Systems.

At that time, Baldwin shared with PrintWeek that PQV is a feature-rich inline defect detection system that enables printers to find and remove defects quickly, and monitor their processes to prevent defects from occurring in the first place. The system provides complete print quality verification from prepress through production, reporting, and archiving for perfect runs.
