Media flexibility is a hallmark of Pro C5100s, with a new fuser assembly which uses information from the media library to optimise the fuser temperature and pressure combination for each substrate. This technology is ideal for printing challenging applications such as envelopes, where the balance of pressure and heat is critical to maintain a flat and perfectly printed product. It can also print banners up to 1,260-mm through the advanced settings.

It is ideal for printers who are looking to differentiate themselves by offering more competitive applications such as banners, POP displays, signs, sales and marketing collaterals. It can print at speeds of up to 80-ppm and supports paper weights of up to 360-gsm in both simplex and duplex. An optimal image quality up to 1200x4800-dpi is achieved with Ricoh’s enhanced vertical cavity surface emitting laser (VCSEL) technology. It delivers a premium finish, supports an extensive range of media including new textured media technology, and enables various applications, such as light packaging, demo packaging, direct mail, books, brochures and business cards.

Pro 8100S

The Ricoh Pro 8100S series features an in-built controller providing copy, print, and scan functionality as standard configuration. It has a speed ranging from 95- to 135-ppm, suitable for average to high document volumes, and higher duty cycles. It is primarily targeted at the entry level production market, and is ideal for high-volume general office users, central reprographic departments, professional print for pay, and commercial printers. It is designed to have a unit life of 60 million copies while Ricoh’s pulverised toner technology produces superior black depth, consistent quality, exceptional accuracy, and repeatable results. It has a compact design to occupy small footprint and its intuitive control panel helps operators manage system functions and job queues easily.
