Nutech ups the ante with book factory in Faridabad

Nutech has created an ultra modern book manufacturing plant at Faridabad, Haryana. The inauguration ceremony was recently held at the Indian Habitat Centre which had over hundred guests that included customers - prominent names from the book publishing industry.

An ISO 9001 certified company, the Nutech plant with a covered area of 125,000 sq/ft is dedicated to manufacturing books.

The pre-press includes two CTP system from Dainippon Screen 8600 and an Epson Stylus plotter for proofs. The press department boasts of a raft of Mitsubishi Diamond machines including an eight-colour (4 over 4 perfecting press) and a heatset web press from Solna.

The post-press boasts of binding line from Muller Martini - multi clamp binding machines, automatic cutting and three knife trimmers, folding machines, a Kolubus case-maker and Case-in Line. The plant has a fully automatic screen printing machine which is being deployed for speciality UV on covers. UV application is gaining ground with book publishers in order to add appeal to the books .

Ravi Shroff, the managing director of Nutech Print Services added: "The new plant has a capacity to produce 50,000 soft bound and 10,000 hard bound books per day. Being a quality printing house, we have a niche clientele. With the introduction of a new plant, we can meet increasing demand. Nutech is blessed to be associated with some of the top Names in the publishing Industry who continue to place their faith in us". With the new plant, Nutech has a 30:70 ratio in their export and domestic consumption.
