Zund conducts open house, unveils plans

Zund India, the subsidiary of Switzerland-based Zund Systemtechnik, the manufacturer of digital cutting table conducted an open house in Bengaluru to announce its future plans for the Indian and South Asian markets.

In 2012, Zund established its Indian operation by setting up an office in Bengaluru. According to the company, this will enable easier access for its Indian customers.

Housed in a 2,000 sq/ft two storied building, Zund India has incorporated a demo centre to showcase complete design and cutting solutions for the graphic art, packaging, leather, textile and speciality industrial application.
 
Mike Zund, chief executive officer at Zund Systemtechnik, said, “We are happy to establish our Indian office. This will bring us closer to our existing and future customers.” Sanjib Baruah, country manager at Zund India, said, “With quality Swiss product supported by a competent team in India and the business partners, the Zund vision will pervade.”
 
At the one day event, Zund India announced its plans to open the Zund Knowledge Centre by the end of 2013.
