Speaking to PrintWeek India, Kalra elaborating on the features said that the C70 is a low-cost high speed machine, which can print on a wide range of application in this market space, including running synthetics, vinyls, window clings, carbonless paper, never-tear paper, transfer papers, magnets among others. “This is achieved through Xerox’s low melt toner and flexible paper path,” said Kalra.

Kalra also said that the digital press has an incredible low power consumption when printing.  “The newly developed, heat-efficient IH fuser does not require preheating, which helps reduce power consumption in standby mode by 44% compared to a resistance heating device.” He added, “The power consumption of the scanner using LED lighting is one-third of traditional scanners. With these energy savings, the running electricity costs of the C70 is almost one-fourth to similar press configurations available in the market today,” claimed Kalra.
