Wonderjet installation at Mercury in Nashik

Equipped with a five-ply automatic plant and a raft of offset and flexo presses, this new addition has ensured that Mercury Plasto Containers, the flagship company, has carved a niche for themselves in the Indian western region for high quality corrugated boxes for agriculturists. 

The digital press from Wonderjet, WDR 200-46A is a water-based inkjet with Ricoh heads. With 46 print heads, the press can print a maximum width of 1200mm x 2400mm. The material format is 1800 x 2400mm in auto feeding. The speed is 0.7 metres to 1.5 metres per second. This WDR 200-46A can handle boards from 2mm to 20mm, making it ideal for shortrun of 3000 sheets economically feasible with added features of variable data like QR and Barcode. An Aura official said, "A normal day at Mercury with Wonderjet ensures 15 to 20 jobs of various runs up to 3000, a distinct possibility."
