Kolar Gold Fields-based Vinayaka Printers, which specialises in screen printing, offset printing, and digital printing, has bought its first printer, a Konica Minolta AccurioPress C4070.
P Gajendran, proprietor, Vinayaka Printers, said, “For the past few years, we had been sourcing from outside. The Konica Minolta AccurioPress seems to be the perfect first machine for us.”
The printer offers decent media variety, allowing goods to be printed on thin and thick paper, embossed paper, and envelopes, among other things. One can print flat sheets and duplex long sheets of up to 864 mm and directly finish prints inline.
The printer offers 50-sheet booklet making with front trimming, optional creasing, slitting and spine corner forming, binding of books up to 30-mm, automated inline business card and postcard cutting, full bleed banners of A3 and A4 posters, and 71 A4 colour pages per minute.
“We chose to buy the AccurioPress because the print cost was perfectly reasonable. Previous customers have also said only wonderful things about the machine, and the satisfaction rate appears to be high. The colour calibration of the machine is CMYK which matches our needs perfectly. In comparison to several machines, the colour consistency appears to be excellent and we provide finishing solutions like cutting, lamination, creasing and half punching,” Gajendran added.
The machine was ordered, installed and operational within three days. For maintenance, Konica Minolta offers online troubleshooting.
P Gajendran’s father, V Palani Mudaliar, founded Vinayaka Printers in 1981 and the company is in its third generation of business. “I owe a lot to my father for how he established the company. It is his working etiquette that I have imbibed, and for this I am grateful,” he concluded.
