Baddi, Himachal Pradesh-based Vinayak Print & Publicity runs a raft of printing machines and equipment for diverse print applications. The company recently invested in a brand-new Canon ImagePress V800 digital colour production press.

With a focus on digital large-format eco-solvent printing for production of promotional display graphic solutions, Vinayak Print & Publicity caters to finished products, including standees, directional signs, name plates, channel letters, and safety signs, among others. Now the print shop has elevated its print applications to a new direction following the installation of the new iPR V800. “This new Canon digital colour production press, which we installed in September last year, is totally redefining our commercial digital printing,” Udayvir Singh, partner, Vinayak Print & Publicity, said.
When it comes to commercial digital printing, Vinayak Print & Publicity caters to a range of finished products like visiting cards, brochures, fliers, catalogues, labels, etc. “Print innovation in digital printing is totally redefined with the new Canon press in our facility,” Babu Lal, partner, Vinayak Print & Publicity. He added, “Many new applications like stickers with silver and metallic textures can be produced now at our facility with the new iPR V800. Flexibility of this Canon press with varieties of materials, comprising speciality and textured media, is really commendable.”
According to Singh, iPR V800 is the right choice for digital colour print production, which they have been innovating to the next level. He added, “Compact with a small footprint, this Canon digital colour production press unfolds a huge possibility of printing a wide range of premium commercial graphics and end-products. Advanced features and capabilities packed in this compact digital press are what we don’t find in any other presses available in the market.”
The iPR V800 delivers graphic prints in 2,400x2,400-dpi, a resolution rated as top-class in the industry. In addition, this compact Canon digital system is robustly engineered to run at the speed of catering 80 A4-size pages per minute (ppm) compatibly to print on a broad array of lightweight and heavyweight substrates ranging from 52- up to 350-gsm. Babu Lal states that they are now confidently printing unconventional media like covers, envelopes, synthetics, and long sheets up to 1300mm, to mention a few, on the new iPR V800.
Vinayak Print & Publicity boasts a vast customer base expanding beyond Baddi or Himachal, which expansively includes Dehradun, Haridwar, Yamuna Nagar, etc. “With the installation of iPR V800, we have strengthened our digital printing capacity, allowing us to magnify print applications with more creative and innovative graphics.
