Tyvek – HP partner for newer avenues

In its first, Dupont’s Tyvek, a high-density non-woven polyethylene, has been certified by HP for its Indigo and Latex series. At the Dscoop Asia 2014, which was held between 11-13 June at Bali, Tyvek had participated as one of the many solution partners of HP.

Shyam Patnaik, segment leader for Tyvek at Dupont India, said, “Digital printing trend is going to dominate all future trends in general graphics business. Looking at this trend we are making effort in understanding the digital printing platform and positioning Tyvek as a preferred media. DuPont has partnered with HP to work as one of the preferred media for HP Indigo and HP Latex digital printing platform.”

To enlist the HP equipment for the Tyvek, it is the Indigo 5600, WS4000, WS4050, WS4500, WS6000 and the Latex 300 series.
 
The Tyvek-HP partnership, according to Patnaik has, opened up newer avenues and larger possibilities like novelties, durable documents, wall mural/graphics, in store branding etc..
