Tin and metal printing with Fuji Kikai Kogyo

Mumbai-based Standard Printers Providers are at stall E19 with a video presentation of tin and metal printing by Fuji Kikai Kogyo machines.

Standard Printers has been representing this Japanese manufacturer for over 15 years in India and have installed 10 Fuji Kikai machines so far. These are sheetfed offset printing machines with UV and IR dryers.
 
According to Gaurav Sachdev of Standard Printers, the metal printing is a niche segment with not more than 80 to 100 players, with four to five big daddies.
 
“Metal packaging is gaining traction as it becomes a preferred packaging material when it comes to premium packaging whether it is for confectionaries or food or for aerosol cans. With all its advantages of barrier and eco friendly nature, metal packaging is set to grow.”
 
The current estimate of metal packaging industry, according to Sachdev, is Rs 500-crore.
