The TechNova stall during Pamex 2026

TechNova Imaging Systems is showcasing its offset, digital, flexo and workflow portfolio at Pamex 2026, with a focus on helping printers strengthen offset operations while integrating digital technologies in a practical way.

Speaking to PrintWeek during the show, Amit Khurana, CEO at TechNova Imaging Systems, says the company’s Pamex strategy reflects structural shifts in how print businesses are positioning themselves. “The market is no longer segmented the way it used to be,” he said. “Commercial printers are moving into digital, publication printers are exploring packaging, and packaging converters are adding multiple processes. Our thinking is to support this hybridisation with an end-to-end, integrated approach.”

The TechNova stand is organised around three core technology zones covering offset, digital and flexo printing, supported by a dedicated software and workflow demonstration area. In offset, the company is highlighting its plate portfolio, including Adonis thermal photopolymer plates for long-run applications, Elite thermal CTP plates and VioStar Plus violet photopolymer plates. TechNova is also previewing Altimus, a thermal zero-process CTP plate scheduled for commercial availability later this year.

“Processless is a clear direction for us,” Khurana said while discussing a new offering, Altimus plate, which is expected to be launched in June this year. “Altimus builds on what we have learnt from Kratos, with improvements in run length, shelf life and prepress handling. Our objective is to help customers reduce waste and simplify offset operations.”

On the digital side, TechNova is demonstrating hybrid production workflows through live demonstrations of the Konica Minolta AccurioPress C12010S dry toner press, Duplo digital spot UV coating, Jwei digital cutting systems and the Founder EagleJet S330 sheetfed inkjet press.

According to Khurana, digital is increasingly being deployed to complement offset rather than replace it. “Printers are looking at digital for turnaround speed and value addition, while offset continues to anchor volume and cost efficiency,” he explains.

The flexo zone features plate solutions from Asahi Photoproducts and waterless and letterpress plates from Toray, aimed at label and packaging converters seeking consistency and compliance. Alongside hardware, TechNova is placing emphasis on workflow automation following its alliance with Binuscan. Live demonstrations of Binuscan ColorBox show automated PDF standardisation, colour correction and optimisation across offset and digital workflows.

Khurana adds that sustainability considerations now cut across all segments. “Whether it is plates, chemicals or workflows, customers are asking for solutions that meet regulatory requirements and reduce environmental load. Our role is to upgrade formulations and processes without disrupting production,” he says.
