Swati Chopra appointed publisher at Hachette

Hachette India has appointed Swati Chopra as its new publisher heading its new combined adult, business and children’s books division. She takes over from founding MD and acting publisher, Thomas Abraham, who is retiring at the end of the year. Chopra will take up the role in January 2026 and will report to Riti Jagoorie, MD, Hachette India.
