Telangana-based Sridevi Printers & Flex Printing has recently invested a new Canon ImagePress V700, a compact digital colour production press from Canon India.
Established in 1980, Sridevi Printers & Flex Printing started as a commercial printing shop. In rhythm of the changing trends and tradition in the market, it kept expanding its machines, manpower, and product portfolio over the years. The main aim of the company is to fulfil all print demand and requirement of its customers under one roof.
Santosh Kumar of Sridevi Printers & Flex Printing said, “My grandfather and one of my uncles started the business in the early 1980s when there were little or nothing about ultra-modern printing machines and technologies. From time to time, they dedicatedly invested in advanced presses and equipment to become what we are today. Currently, we have a team of 25 skilled staff handling our production facility.”
He added, “As it reflects in our company name, we have been persistently engaging in digital large-format printing, or the so-called flex printing, alongside the commercial jobs as mainstays of our business over the years or decades. We are however moving insistently on the digital printing front with the constant adoptions of the latest machines like the ImagePress V700.”
Packed with unconventional features, the ImagePress V700 caters to graphic prints in repeatable colours and leading resolution. It operates at the speed of 70 A4-ppm to deliver graphics in 2,400x2,400-dpi. Flexible with varied media, it’s compatible with stocks ranging from 52- up to 350-gsm that include the covers, envelopes, synthetics, and 1300-mm sheets. It’s also bundled with EFI Print Server P400 or PS Kit option as choice.
“It’s been just a matter of one month or so since we started running the ImagePress V700. We have so far printed around 25,000 sheets and are looking forward to doing more by exploiting the press’ overall advancements and capabilities,” said Kumar.
