Srikakulam, Andhra Pradesh-based Sri Bhavani Digital World has forayed into the world of digital printing with a strategic purchase of a brand-new Canon ImagePress V700. This digital colour production press from Canon India has opened a fresh chapter in the company’s invitation card printing, reincarnating it into a whole new avatar of print quality, textures, and faster productivity. 

Santosh Kumar of Sri Bhavani Digital World said, “My father G Purusottham has been in the printing industry for years. I joined him as a second generation in the business. We kickstarted our new voyage of commercial digital printing six months ago. We installed this ImagePress V700 as the key machine for our new venture, now focusing primarily on printing invitation cards of all kinds.”

He added, “Nowadays, digital printing is a new momentum in the market driven by several factors like print-on-demand (POD) or short-run, personalised or customised printing. When it comes to media compatibly and flexibly, the ImagePress V700 takes in the broadest line ranging from 52- up to 350-gsm that consists of covers, envelopes, synthetics, and long sheets of 1,300-mm in length.
