SPAI felicitates the Winners of FESPA 2013 Awards and Hall of Fame inductees

Fespa conducts Award Competition every second year at their exhibitions in Europe and many participants worldwide participate in the same, to show their expertise and innovations and win Trophies.

Indian printers, who are SPAI members, participate in this competition, year after year with large number of entries.

To acknowledge and recognise the splendid work done by printers across the globe, Fespa introduced the Hall of Fame only a year ago, was taken over by many Indian printers, with as many as 21 of them being inducted to the Hall of Fame at Fespa 2013 in London.

Screen Printing Association of India felicitated the winners of Fespa 2013 awards and the Hall of Fame inductees at an event organised on 22 February in Mumbai.

Huned Rangwala, president, SPAI informed that 24 gold, silver and bronze awards were won by the Indian printers. “My heartiest congratulations to all the award winning companies.  I feel very proud to see that the print quality in India is on par with the western counterparts.” Said Rangwala in his address.

He added, “The feather in the cap for the Indian printing industry and especially SPAI was when Suresh Babu of AB Screens, Tiruppur, was adjudged the topmost winner of Hall of Fame for Fespa 2013” selected from over hundreds of printers across the globe, who contested.”

Screen printing companies from tier-B cities like Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Guntur, Hapur, Pune, Surat and Tiruppur, were recipients of the Award.
