Representing Sona Papers, Shubham Shirke, senior business development, detailed a range of offerings sourced from global manufacturers, including Fedrigoni, Hansol, MyCordenons, Munken, Lenzing Paper, Neenah, and JSP. The display highlighted the company’s focus on high-end packaging clients, printers, and specialised sectors such as the jewellery industry.

A central theme of the company’s presence this year was the increasing demand for sustainable materials. Shirke noted that the industry’s shift toward eco-friendly solutions is now a primary requirement for major corporate clients. Sona Papers has responded by prioritising FSC-certified products and 100% recycled options. Among these, the MyRecycle range from the MyCordenons mill was a focal point, emphasised for its production process that avoids the cutting of new trees.

The versatility of these papers was demonstrated through several high-profile applications. These products are selected by corporations for their annual reports, catalogues, and calendars due to their specific tactile qualities and environmental credentials.

With an established presence that extends to an office in Dubai, Sona Papers aims to bridge the gap between global paper innovations and the specific requirements of the Indian premium packaging market.
