Suri Graphix, a printing and packaging company from Sivakasi, Tamil Nadu has installed Indus Analytics' Indus Print ERP suite to keep track of its high volume jobs. The installation comes at a time when the company has been adding several new products to its portfolio.
The newly-installed ERP software is equipped with AI-based planning and process automation features. The software is said to have control over the press operations – from estimation to dispatch – through its mobile dashboard feature. Apart from that, according Parmeshwar Patidar of Indus Analytics, "it is easy to use with pocket-friendly ERP budget".
Founded in 2009 in Tamil Nadu's Sivakasi district, Suri Graphix has been manufacturing paper bags, folding cartons, and rigid boxes. The company has also been investing in machineries for manufacturing.
"We were initially into paper trading for more than 30 years and in 2009, we decided to diversify into printing and packaging and hence the establishment of Suri Graphix. Initially, we were catering to the packaging needs of local companies and slowly started adding more products to our portfolio," said Krishna Subramanian, director at Suri Graphix.
As a new user to Indus Print ERP, initial training is very important. Subramanian said, "I found Indus' remote training sessions very effective and beneficial in this current crisis. The trainers are very knowledgeable and clearly skilled in delivering remote training."
Patidar, however, said, "One of the major challenges Suri faced was it was unable to manage the flow of products. As the business volume was high, they required a system that was able to reduce the production time with less manpower. Added benefits of the ERP are improved data collection, control of information, productivity measures and better management of jobs".
"I am very happy to see continued improvements and new features in Indus Print software and I regularly recommended Indus Print ERP to my contacts," Subramanian concluded.
