Rohit Sawhney, sales director India and Indian subcontinent at Sidel, said, “India is an important market for Sidel and one we will continue to invest in. We are proud to have a major presence here with this state-of-the-art office in a great location. These new premises allow us to be closer to our customers and partners in the Gurugram area, alongside major players in the technology and beverage industries.”

The office comes as a part of Sidel’s strategy to establish dedicated offices close to its customers to offer a global experience paired with local expertise.

The DLF Cyber City is linked with metro stations, and it is nearby the expressway, thus, providing the connectivity for Sidel’s new hub.

According to Sawhney, the dairy market, bottled water and juice segments in the country are significantly growing, to which Sidel, can cater to its packaging line solutions that include its Aseptic Combi Predis kit. “The new office is a symbol of our commitment to and trust in the Indian market, our customers and our people, the very reason we can continue to succeed in this growing market,” added Sawhney.

Sidel opened its first office in Mumbai in 1996, and its second office and a factory in Pune in 2001. Also, Sidel inaugurated an R&D Centre in Pune in April 2019.

Over the last 23 years, the company has gained over 350 customers and has sold over 2,600 pieces of packaging equipment to manufacturers in India.
