Frédéric Sailly, executive vice-president product management and development, Sidel, said, “Beverage producers, brand owners and co-packers need to stay competitive in an evolving and demanding market, with easy-to-use, smart, flexible and customised solutions. At Drinktec 2017, we are looking forward to showing how this understanding of our customers' needs and the trends in the liquid packaging industry enables us to deliver greater performance for bottling lines.”

At the event, the company will exhibit Super Combi all-in-one system for water and carbonated soft drinks (CSD) production.

Sidel will also exhibit new modular labeller that can adapt different labelling technologies to produce both glass and PET containers.

Besides this, the new can and glass fillers based on Sidel Matrix platform have been developed with improved hygienic conditions for producers of beer and CSD.

Another highlight will be Agility 4.0 framework that aims to provide customers with digitally-aided understanding and enhanced performance, and packaging mass customisation choices.

The company will also exhibit solutions to handle aseptic and hot fill production in PET at the event.

Recently, Sidel received approval from the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for its Aseptic Combi Predis FMa blow fill seal filler.

This solution is the world’s first aseptic PET filling equipment with dry pre-form sterilisation validated for low-acid manufacturing and commercial distribution in the United States and other FDA markets.

In addition, Sidel Services portfolio will be exhibited, which enable customers to build, maintain and improve the performance of bottling lines across the production lifecycle.
