Screen pulls out of Drupa 2021

Screen Graphic Solutions has announced its decision to part away from Drupa 2021 in Germany.

“This decision is a sensible precaution considering the current circumstances caused by the Covid-19 pandemic," said a company statement.

The digital high-speed inkjet printer specialist said that it is eying to integrate newer communication technologies and is aiming to provide virtual experiences to its customers, a trend accelerated by the Covid-induced lockdown.

With both market and social conditions undergoing a substantial amount of changes, Screen believes that it has become essential to enhance its communication with customers and partners. “We are continuously creating opportunities to boost both our virtual and physical communication to ensure we provide the best possible experience,” the statement added.

The Japan-based company is renowned for its digital high-speed inkjet printers, label and packaging presses, wide-format industrial machinery and pre-press systems, and it had lined up a range of new technologies to be displayed at the aforementioned Drupa 2020.
