The company scrutinised all other presses available in the market before settling for the new Manroland Evolution press for its advanced and automated technology. The seven-colour press can print a sheet of 750x1060-mm at the speed of 16,000 sheets an hour, with an option to print up to 20,000 sheets per hour also available.

Sain Packaging is expecting the delivery of the machine by the end of this year. Sain is in pharmaceutical packaging and with the new Manroland press coming in soon, Sachin Gupta, managing director of Sain Packaging, is ready to expand his customer base and market coverage, and take it to a whole new dimension.

Sachin Gupta of Sain Packaging says, “With the new Manroland Evolution press wholly manufactured in Germany coming in soon, our printing capacity will be doubled. Right now, we are printing 150,000 sheets in a 24-hour operation. After adding the Roland Evolution 700, we will be printing 300,000 sheets. It will increase our production speed of hybrid UV production as well. Right now, we are doing it offline. The machine will reduce our turnaround time by three days. It will help us to serve our customers with on-time delivery.”

He added that the Roland Evolution 700 is loaded with advanced features, which will help save on electricity and maintenance, apart from being operator friendly.

“Being a double cylinder machine, the paper transportation from one unit to the other will be smooth. The machine is sturdy and robust, apart from the size, the speed and the inking system which is the most advanced system to give that edge in quality printing,” he added.
