S Kumar-Zonten has recorded a strong run at Pamex 2026, securing multiple orders across label converting, carton finishing and offset label printing, underlining growing confidence among Indian converters in the company’s technology and local support. The momentum began on the opening day of the exhibition, with Bengaluru-based Parvathi Labels becoming the first customer at the show to confirm an order, investing in a Zonten flexo press for high-quality industrial and white goods labels.
S Kumar-Zonten also expanded its footprint in north India with an order from Shanti Labels of Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh. Owner Utsav Gupta said the decision was taken after evaluating multiple options. “We evaluated many machines and found S Kumar-Zonten to be the best deal. We trust S Kumar-Zonten for their support and services,” he said, adding that the order was finalised in a single meeting.
Repeat business featured prominently as well. A2 Labels confirmed the purchase of a high-speed slitter rewinder, marking its third machine from S Kumar-Zonten, a reflection of continued satisfaction with both performance and after-sales support.
On the second day of the show, S Kumar-Zonten announced a significant offset press order from Tanishq Packaging of Ankleshwar, south Gujarat. The company invested in a seven-colour Zonten intermittent offset press, aimed at addressing rising demand for premium labels in pesticide, healthcare and food processing segments.
Satish Patel, managing director of Tanishq Packaging, said the investment followed an extensive evaluation process that included visits to multiple global manufacturers. The final decision was driven by the versatility of the intermittent offset platform, live demonstrations at the S Kumar-Zonten stall and the depth of technical support offered by the team. Tanishq Packaging brings over 15 years of experience in sheetfed offset printing and is now diversifying into specialised label production.
The third day of Pamex saw further traction in packaging and converting. Vadodara-based Dark Horse Impressions, a new entrant in cigarette cartons and labels, confirmed an order for a heavy-duty Zonten flat-bed die-cutting system. The machine is designed to handle 300-gsm folding boxboard alongside self-adhesive labels, supporting the company’s entry into tobacco packaging.
Hukam Singh, director of Dark Horse Impressions, said the choice was influenced by Zonten’s global reputation in cigarette carton converting and printing equipment. He noted that tobacco packaging demands tight tolerances and high-speed stability, requirements the Zonten system is engineered to meet.
In another key development, Royalex Himalaya Inx of Mangrol, Surat, placed an order for Zonten’s first 550-mm ZMQ IML converting machine with a one-metre length capacity. Managing director Bharat Buha and director Riyancee Buha visited the Zonten manufacturing facility prior to finalising the purchase. The machine will support the company’s expansion from gravure printing into the IML label segment, particularly for large-format labels used on 50-litre paint and oil buckets.
Additional orders during the show included investments from Shanti Labels, A2 Labels and Tanishq Packaging, reinforcing the company’s traction across labels, cartons and offset-based applications.
Commenting on the strong showing, Manish Hansoti, managing director of S Kumar-Zonten, said the results reflected the company’s focus on combining robust engineering with responsive, localised support. He added that Pamex 2026 continues to demonstrate a clear shift among Indian converters towards reliable, high-performance platforms that can address diverse applications while reducing downtime and waste.
