Repro begins production on Prosper

The purchase of the equipment from Kodak, according to Repro, has been a part of its strategy to become a one-stop solution for the publisher, right from managing the content to production to fulfilment.

“The Kodak Prosper 1000 press has a fully integrated solution package, which includes content management at the back-end, digital store front catering to the print and fulfilment requirements , and binding , finishing and packaging lines. This makes us the first firm in India to be able to provide a complete solution for the publishers,” added Vohra.

Since 2011, Repro has been investing significantly in IT systems that have enabled the company to manage up to 20 plants from one location through a centralised planning system.
