Ranchi’s Kailash Paper reduces leadtime with a new RMGT 920

Ranchi-based Kailash Paper Conversion has installed a RMGT 920 five-colour plus coater. The machine has been pressed into production since August, and the company has already printed around 25 lakh sheets. The press can run at the speed of 16,200 sheets an hour.

Taneja: prints four-lakh soft and hard bound books

Mukesh Taneja, managing director, Kailash Paper Conversion, said, “The RMGT has reduced our lead time by 30%. The kit is economical and is equipped with Japanese technology. We could also save on space because of its size. It is equipped with a host of performance enhancing features such as 55-inch press information display monitor, programe inking with AI function, automatic nip checking mode, maintenance mode, retractable coating unit and others.”

Kailash prints around four-lakh soft and hard bond books, beside advertising materials. 

The production facility includes everything, from designing to final delivery. Its digital segment is equipped with HP Indigo and Konica Minolta colour production engines. It has an offline textured UV coating facility too.

Among its other achievements, Kailash has printed the popular book, Autobiography of a Yogi in 15 languages. The commercial and books printing company is also registered with Unicef in Ranchi. 

The company was started by Taneja’s parents as a stationery shop in 1985-86, which still exists. A team of 150 works in the company’s 40,000 sq/ft ISO-certified production facility.
