Rajsree Industrial Printer backs business roadmap with investment

“With the growing demand and business picking up we thought this would be the right investment to make keeping our roadmap in mind,” said Rajesh G, managing partner, Rajsree.

Founded in 1997, the company is headed by K Gopalakrishnan Nair and is managed by Rajesh and his wife Jean Rajesh.

“Even when we started operations, we paid a lot of attention to having the right equipment even in the post-press section and over the years we have only carefully added the right equipment to meet our goals,” said Rajesh.

Speaking about the Viostar investment, Rajesh explained, “We felt that there was a need to set, maintain and monitor standards of all our jobs, and an in-house CTP and software were what we needed. TechNova’s Viostar was an easy choice for us. As a market leader, we are expecting better quality result and service.” He added, “Phoenix software was also added for setting packaging jobs like carton and labels for faster turnaround and least human intervention.”

Apart from the Mitsubishi 1000 LS printing machine supplied by Chennai-based Sri Bhagavathi Offset Works, the unit is also equipped with a five-colour KBA Rapida press, die-cutting machines, automatic folder gluer for mono cartons, wet lamination machines, a gold foiling machine and a knurling machine.

“Over the years we have narrowed our focus to packaging with mono cartons and labels being our speciality. Commercial printing jobs like brochures, danglers, calendars and other publicity materials like posters and point of display materials too are also produced by us on a consistent basis,” said Rajesh.

Rajsree’s clientele includes advertising companies and major industrial units and export units. The customers are spread from Trivandrum to Kannur districts in Kerala. The firm has won the state award Kerala Mudrana Puraskaram in the years 2014 and 2017.

Rajesh is a very active member of Kerala Master Printers Association and the immediate past secretary of the body.
