Rachana Ramanath Kini buys Canon ImagePress

The company currently has an office-level 12x18 digital printer and wanted to upgrade to a product printer. It evaluated other competitive brands before taking a final call on the Canon ImagePress V700. 

Ramachandra Anand Kini of Rachana Ramanath Kini said the company is happy with the print quality of the Canon ImagePress V700 and the built-in EFI Fiery features. Kini said the company is also happy with the envelope printing concept on the production machine.

In the industry for the last 15 years, Rachana Ramanath Kini offers offset, digital, flex printing and finishing.

“We are happy with the print speed and quality of the ImagePress V700. With this, we have been able to increase our print volume. It has helped us take our digital printing business to the next target level in the existing market. With the increased media flexibility, we are able to obtain better results on synthetic, texture and readymade envelopes along with standard 350-gsm paper.

Recently launched and perfect for light volume production, the new ImagePress V700 series produces monthly print volumes of up to 500,000 A4 pages and can print up to 70 A4 pages/minute. It delivers versatility by incorporating the latest technology that adjusts the suction force before fixing according to different paper weights, stabilising the transport of thick paper.
